Cheshire Relays 3rd July - Crewe: Teams

The Sprint relays start at 11:00am in Crewe. There is a 4 x 100 and a 3 x 800 race.

Athletes need to be leaving Wilmslow by 10:00 if possible. If we know the teams I'm sure shared transport can be arranged if that helps. I suggest we do this this Thursday.

The 800m relays start at about 2:00pm and I guess ours would be over by about 3:00pm.

Cheshire Track & Field Results: Round 1 - Bebbington

We have had difficulty in getting the results from Round 1 match at Bebbington.  The computer system used is et up for 6 teams and we were number 7!  Hence our results did not come out.  Jim has managed to extract some data which I have formulated into results table below.  The results sheets do not give any results for Gemma Dempster nor for any Handforth non-scorers.– sorry.

Marrianne’s gutsy 1500m earned 2 valuable points for the club. . Jack Dempster as an u11 boy would have scored 6 match points.  His results would not have affected the match scores of the other six clubs. Well done everbody.

Also a special mention must go to Andy and Chris for their achievement of 2nd place in the Men’s Javelin. This is a great result which we hope will inspire other parents out there to come along and have a go and in turn provide inspiration to the younger athletes. Or perhaps you youngsters should start nagging your parents to try J !!

Cheshire Track & Field Round 2 - July 11th at Macclesfield

Registration is 11.30am, finishing around 4pm.  If you are interested please let me know and we can work out events etc. particularly for the u13 boys as there are lots of you!!

Lets get another good turnout.  If we know you are coming beforehand and we can allocate the events for you to do then it may well be possible to turn up half an hour before your event - as long as we know.

Subscriptions Due - have you forgotten?

Subscriptions for the season 20110/11 are due by the end of April.  It is now almost July and there are a few  outstanding – it may have slipped your mind. 

If you are unsure whether you have paid them, then please check with Mike as soon as possible to ensure that you have paid and we have the necessary funds to buy equipment and subsidise entry fees.  Thank you.
